Odds on the Go with Poker Odds – Apple Watch Edition
If you want to bring a
poker odds calculator with you wherever you go and have a spare dollar to spend, listen up. The first poker odds app available for the Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, and iPod Touch was recently released. It's called the
Poker Odds – Apple Watch Edition.
When we said a dollar, we were exaggerating slightly, as the app itself only costs $0.99, which is just about as free as you can get without actually being free.
We recently had the opportunity to test out this app and were pleased with what we saw. It is the perfect app to play around with at home, and better yet to bring along with you while playing live poker.
The app not only gives you pre-flop odds based on your hole cards and the number of opponents in the most popular poker format in No Limit Texas Hold'em, but also for four other very popular games in Omaha, Razz, Stud, and Stud Eight or Better.
Downloading the app is as simple as downloading anything in the iTunes store, and using it is very easy too. To top it off, the design of the software is very modern and pleasing to the eye.
How the software works is simple. Simply choose the game you want to play, click on your hole cards, select the number of opponents, and watch the software do its magic in under a second. We tested the software out on a multitude of devices and each one was as smooth as the next.
For most of the games, the software will provide you your win percentage, tie percentage, and overall equity based on the criteria you asked to be calculated. However, since Stud Eight or Better is a split pot game, more information is provided including high hand win %, high hand tie %, low hand win %, low hand tie %, overall equity, and the odds you will scoop up the entire pot.
If you want to have poker odds at your immediate disposal wherever you go, especially during your next live poker game, check this app out. As we already mentioned, it will only set you back $0.99, which is cheaper than what you would pay for just one hand of rake. In other words, you really have nothing to lose and plenty to gain by having poker odds at your disposal in the palm of your own hand or around your wrist.
Don't take our word for it, though.
